Disconnect Neg terminal and release belt

Disconnect alternator wiring harness.

View is showing repair to battery post insulator.

Make sure leads are clean for good contact.

Clean contacts make for good charging.

Be sure connector seats well and nut is tight.

Reconnect Alternator wiring harness.

With engine off, verify battery charge of 12+ volts.

Start engine, charging voltage should read 14 - 15 volts.
